Sexual Difficulties & Therapy – Psychosexual Workshop

One day workshop facilitated by Stephanie McNiff (Marriage & Relationship counsellor, Psychosexual Workshop)

This one day workshop will focus on:

  • Sexual attitudes
  • Sexual dysfunctions
  • Explanation of Psychosexual Therapy
  • Criteria for treatment
  • Factors suggesting suitability for treatment
  • Sexual screening questions
  • Stages of arousal – male & female
  • Sex myths

Examples from case studies will be used to illustrate the work.

This workshop is suitable for Psychotherapists, Counsellors and those in training.

Supervision Training Course

Role Lock and Group Supervision Exercises

A group supervision workshop based on a series of exercises incorporating role lock and group dynamic theories and an unique opportunity to present client work and gain a greater understanding of your clients and yourself as counsellor. The workshop offers a choice of six exercises to meet the help requested by you the supervisee.

Facilitated by: Gill Child and Cathy Blostone

Catherine Blostone has been a qualified counsellor for ten years. She has a Master's Degree in Reflective Practice and Supervision from the University of Essex and provides supervision to teachers, other educationalists and to pastoral workers in the prison service. Catherine conducts workshops for Norfolk Children?s Services and the British Reflexology Association. She has been commissioned to carry out research into girl bullying and her findings have been disseminated throughout the UK and France. She is married and lives in Norfolk.

Gill Child has worked as a counsellor in Occupational Health for nine years. Following graduation from the University of Essex with a Master?s Degree in Reflective Practice and Supervision she now also practises in UK and Italy providing supervision for individuals and groups to both Organisational Counsellors and to Age Concern. Gill has carried out research into workplace counselling and provides stress management and retirement workshops in commercial settings. She is married with three children.
