Tricia is a practicing, professionally qualified Psychotherapist and Counsellor for over 12 years, and is an Accredited IACP Supervisor. She holds an M.A. in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy from the University of Limerick, and a Diploma in Biodynamic and Integrative Psychotherapy.

She trained and worked in the Limerick Rape Crisis centre as a full time counsellor, from 1997 to 2002, and obtained a Diploma on Sexual Violence from the Network of Rape Crisis Centres of Ireland. Tricia also holds a Diploma in Bereavement Counselling.

Tricia works as a Psychotherapist with individuals, groups, couples, adolescents and families. She is an accredited IACP supervisor, offering supervision to trainee, pre accredited and accredited therapists, on a one-to-one supervision or group supervision basis. She offers supervision and consultancy to other professionals also, either individually or in groups.

Tricia also facilitates group Assertiveness Training and Personal Development Training programs.

She is an accredited member, and adheres to a strict Code of Ethics as outlined by the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapists (IAHIP), the Irish Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors, (IACP) and the European Association of Psychotherapists (EAP). Tricia comes from a medical background, having qualified as a registered general nurse (SRN) in 1979 and state certified midwife (SCM) in 1981, and has practiced as an Occupational Health Nurse with and American Multinational Company.
